About this item

• THE WORLD'S SAFEST WAY TO SPLIT KINDLING - INVENTED BY A TEENAGER: The Kindling Cracker was designed by 13-year-old Ayla Hutchinson of New Zealand after her mother injured her hand with a splitting axe. Her solution: a patented cast iron safety ring that keeps your hands completely away from the fixed splitting wedge at all times. No swinging blade. No close calls. Just clean, safe kindling - every time.
• EFFORTLESS TO USE - ANYONE CAN DO IT: Place a log inside the 9-inch cast iron safety ring, strike the top with a mallet, hammer, or even another piece of wood, and the fixed wedge does the rest. Requires significantly less force than a standard axe, making it accessible for all ages and skill levels - from curious kids to 84-year-olds who want to keep splitting their own kindling independently
• ONE SOLID PIECE OF AUSTRALIAN CAST IRON - BUILT FOR GENERATIONS: Forged as a single, seamless piece of premium cast iron at an Australian foundry, the Kindling Cracker has no welds, no joints, no moving parts, and no blade to sharpen. Zero maintenance. Works in temperatures as low as -94°F (-70°C). A tool your grandkids' grandkids can use.
• INTERNATIONALLY AWARDED, PATENTED, AND ONE OF A KIND: The Kindling Cracker is not just another tool - it's a patented, award-winning innovation that has earned global recognition since its invention by a teenage student in New Zealand. Backed by international accolades and sold in dozens of countries worldwide, it remains the original and most trusted kindling splitter on the market. Imitations exist - there is only one Kindling Cracker.
• PERFECT FOR EVERY FIRE, XL SIZE HANDLES 40% LARGER LOGS: The King's expanded 9-inch inside diameter safety ring accommodates logs nearly 40% larger than the original Kindling Cracker, while the 17-inch tall frame gives you plenty of clearance for longer pieces of firewood - perfect for splitting a full stack quickly and efficiently.
